CHAPTER 3

In the box, and the parts

The Aquarino KH.
The Aquarino KH.

3.1 What comes in the box

  • Aquarino KH;
  • Universal-voltage 12 V / 5 A power supply;
  • 5 × 3 mm silicone hose with sinker, to connect the equipment to the aquarium;
  • pH probe with BNC connector;
  • pH 7.00 and pH 10.00 calibration solutions.

3.2 Getting to know the parts

No.ConnectorWhat it is for
15PH-IN (BNC)Input for the pH probe supplied with the equipment
16KH-OUT (BNC)Optional output: delivers KH to your aquarium controller through its pH interface (Chapter 18)
17KH Buffer (P4)Output for the external buffer dosing pump (Chapter 16)
18CO2Control output for the CO2 solenoid or the peristaltic pump of the calcium reactor (Chapter 17)
1912V DC (P4)Power, through the supply that comes with the product

Panel lights

Four indicators show the state of the equipment without you having to open the app:

LEDMeaning
CPUThe equipment is processing normally
DISKMemory card activity
WIFIConnected to your Wi-Fi network
NETInternet access and Aquarino cloud reachable

There is also a colour LED that sums up the state of the equipment without a screen:

ColourMeaning
GreenKH within the range set by target and margin
BlueKH below the range
RedKH above the range
WhiteMeasurement in progress

If you prefer the equipment discreet, all LEDs can be switched off on the Custom. screen (Chapter 23).
